I have decided that it is time for a new laptop and after doing quite a bit of research I have decided that the Toshiba Portege is the right one for me. Now if I were an American which I am not (thank god!) then I would go on to the US Toshiba site and select the laptop, spec it up just the way I want it, pay for it and a couple of weeks later receive my shiny new laptop.
So here is the problem - In the UK it seems that whilst this laptop is available I can't buy it from the Toshiba website and will need to find a retailer such as PC World, Comet etc, but these retailers only sell standard versions of the computer and I want to spec out the processor, ram and hard drive.
