And an agent mailed me that they credited the amount to Nationwide bank Plc, manchester. They sent me three options to deliver the amount (certified demand draft ) by courier service. Faster delivery in 24 Hrs costs me Gbp 600, and the cheapest ones Gbp 345 in three days. The money should be sent through Western Union money transfer. Is it true?

you should be able to get a bank card, but I think you can't get a credit card until you are 18 (I think that is the case in the UK anyhow). The bank card will allow you to withdraw cash and can be used as a debit card. a debit card just allows you to withdraw and use cash directly from your bank account - a credit card will allow you to amass a huge debt...!!!
Seriously, I would advise against a credit card, the longer you can survive without one, the wealthier you will be - believe me, i've been there (and I don't wanna go back - all my credit cards are cut up and thrown away)

Countrywide home loans is the creditor that is still showing open and I also get a bill every month even thought that this creditor was discharged I have been disputing this for the last 7 months and I'm not getting anywhere(I have notify and dispute the account with them as well as the credit reporting agencies). As a consumer how I'm protected under the fair credit reporting act? what kind of rights do I have ? I know that my credit is less than perfect and it will be like that for the nex 10 years but Countrywide is making this long recovery process a big hassle! Any ideas please let me know.
