My credit score has jumped 20 pts in 3 months, is that good?
Maybe jumped isn't the right word... I've picked up 3 pts. here, 6 pts. there since I've started monitoring my credit score with Experian back in August. I checked all three scores yesterday and they're comparable - high of 608(Equifax), low 581(Experian), and 585(TransUnion) rounding out the middle. I know I'm still at the low end of the scale as far as credit-worthiness goes, but is it possible to maintain this rate of increase on my report? I'm watching my spending like a hawk, and I'm wondering if there's anything else I could be doing to increase my score. Any advice?

Don't close the accounts unless they carry an annual fee.
When you pay in full each month you never pay interest and can achieve top scores.
Also, if you had a late payment, it could have just "aged", or dropped off. Late payments drop off after 2 years.`

Credit card charged me for going over the limit after they decreased amount without notice?
I haven't used my BofA credit card for 8 months, I had only been making payments on it because I used the full amount to pay for tuition. The minimum payment was $90 although I was paying $200 for every payment.
A few weeks ago it showed there was $900 available on the card, so I used it to buy $400 in school books and supplies the same day. The next week, my credit report sent an alert saying that MBNA reported me as over the limit, and I later found out they had just reduced my credit line without sending me any notification. Whether it was directly before or after my purchase is still unclear.
I'm calling them again today to fight them on this, but does this appear to be a problem to anyone else? Is this a legitimate issue to fight them on?

Should I attach my credit card statements when applying a Schengen Visa?
I have no arrears & even though sometimes I pay only for minimum payment but never pay late. The statements for 3 months contains "installment pay billing" so that my credit card is still not in full limit.The limit is 300 USD but there is only USD 70 due to installment for something I bought before. Is it OK or I don't have to attach the statements in Schengen Visa application? Thank you in advance.

Should I get an Xbox 360 with my Credit Card Points?
I have a lot of accumulated Credit Card points & quite honestly, I don't want much from the rewards catalog.
However, I recently got married, got a 46" 1080i & love Call of Duty amongst other video games on my iMac.
Should I spend the equivelant of $500 worth of my reward points on an Xbox 360 with 60GB and 2 wireless controllers, etc.?
I tend to always go for the best for anything I buy & feel like I'd be loosing out without the Elite 120GB. Do I need all that space? What's the space for anyways? Aren't the games all on DVDs?
Is there a good clear comparison chart of all options with the Xbox 360? Point is, if I go with the Elite, I buy it. If I go with the 60GB, I use my reward points. I just don't know if I should save them (5 years old already) or not.
Given that I wouldn't need more than 60 GB & that the next XBOX will allow games to be stored on the Hard Drive, what is the current XBOX's hard drive used for? Score keeping? Game saving? That can't be 60GB, can it?
Well, yes the games are on DVD's, but the next update coming on Nov 19th will allow you to place them on the hard drive for faster loading. If you will be downloading HD movies, etc etc, that also takes up space. If you won't be doing much of that though, the 60GB one will be just fine, and from what it sounds like, you probably won't be. Go ahead and get it, enjoy yourself with a new system. Just make sure your wife won't get mad at you for your late night fragging sessions.
